Grade 10 Science Stream Preparation

This program commenced in 2019 and aims to prepare students who have completed the Grade 10 National Examinations for the science stream in Grade 11. It provides maths and science courses such as chemistry, biology and physics. This program also provides courses such as economics, geography and history for students who prefer humanities. The program runs 3 days a week, post Grade 10 National Exams.

Student Support Program (SSP)

The newly established program at Goroka Grammar School assists students with learning difficulties, with a focus on students with low reading abilities. This program is offered both at the Primary and Secondary campus. 

In the Secondary section, selected students are scheduled to have one-on-one sessions with the SSP teacher, two days a week. 

We believe this program, will continue to provide positive results for students who have been struggling with reading.

Work Experience 

Students in Grade 11 are given the opportunity to take part in work experience for one week in various organisations and companies in Goroka Town. This program takes place in Term 4 of the school year. We believe this provides students with a necessary insight into the "working world." It boosts the students learning morale in pursuing their chosen careers. The students are assessed on their attendance and participation during work experience.
