Goroka Grammar School has a refined reading programme for every grade in the school. The early learning reading program is based on the Jolly Phonics kits from England. This is then refined with immersion in reading a variety of fiction and non-fiction. Every child from kindergarten to grade 12 and assessed for reading grade level twice a year. 

Goroka Grammar school provides facilities for children to take part in different sports, they also have access to high class facilities at the National Sports Institute. Our sports programs also aids children in developing their motor skills, team building and focus. 

Goroka Grammar School has a music program that allows students to learn to read music, play a variety of instruments and take part in public performances.

It also serves as a means for students to express themselves and enhance self-confidence.
