Welcome back to term 4 of the 2020 school year. Hopefully you all had a safe and peaceful break.
Tomorrow, Tuesday 22 September is Polling Day for the Goroka by-election and I wish to advise parents and guardians that Goroka Grammar School will remain open on the day and have classes as usual.
We only will consider closing school tomorrow if the situation turns violent.
I also wish to advise parents once again of the forthcoming National Examination dates:
Grade 10: Monday 19 – Friday 23 October
Grade 12: Monday 26 – Friday 30 October
Grade 8: Monday 2 – Thursday 5 November
The Grade 12 graduation will be held on Friday 30 October at 3pm but entrance will only be for parents of the graduating students. For other secondary grades the school will be closed on that date. Primary grades will have classes as usual.
