Hello everyone and welcome to the start of term 2.
We have made some changes to the teaching timetable for this term so that we are able to catch up with the units of work that should be completed by the end of the term. The changes involve some additional classes being provided between 2.30 and 3.30pm for specific grades. As this means some children will be coming home later than usual, I will provide a list of those classes that will commence on Tuesday 16 April, below:
Monday Grade 7 Science 2.30-3.30pm
Monday Grade 11 Mx. A 2.30-3.30pm
Tuesday Grade 12 Mx. A 2.30-3.30pm
Wednesday Grade 11 Mx. A 2.30-3.30pm
Thursday Grade 11 Physics 2.30-3.30pm
Thursday Grade 7 Social Science 2.30-3.30pm
Thursday Grade 12 Mx. A 2.30-3.30pm
This information will be circulated to all parents and guardians on our circulation list and all students in the above listed classes will be given individual copies to take home. Parents & Guardians are requested to make allowances for students in these classes coming home later than expected. When these classes cease, we will once again advise all parents and guardians in writing.
Secondly, we are scheduled to hold our Variety Show this term on Saturday May 25, which is just 6 weeks away. Students will start preparations in the coming weeks, and they might need parental assistance with preparing costumes for the performance. We will keep you all informed of developments and if your assistance is required, you will be notified.
We will also have the first round of mock exams this term from the 17-20 June for grades 8, 10 & 12.
Finally, the grade 10 Written Expression Exam will be held on Thursday June 6.
