I am pleased to announce that the school will complete phase 3 of our reopening on Wednesday 3 June, after the expiry of the State of Emergency.
Grades 2 to 6 will resume full time on that date and unless there are new cases of Covid-19 in the country the classes will continue until the end of term 2 on Thursday 18 June.
Term 3 will commence on Monday 29 June for all classes.
ELC children in grades Day Care, Kindergarten, Preparatory & Grade 1 will follow a modified programme as follows:
For the remaining 3 weeks of term two, ELC children will attend for only 2 days a week and they will be divided into 2 groups, A & B. As the first week of their resumption will be only for 3 days, group A will attend on Wednesday 3 June and group B will attend on Thursday 4 June. In the following two weeks group A will attend on Monday & Tuesday and group B will attend on Wednesday & Thursday. The reason we are dividing these classes into groups is so that Physical Distancing will be maintained. As soon as I have received the names of children in their two groups the information will be sent out and posted on the school notice board.
ELC children will also have their temperatures taken on a daily basis and will be required to wear masks.
When term 3 commences on 29 June all students, including ELC will attend full time.
Commencing on Wednesday 3 June all grade 7 to 12 classes will be conducted at the Secondary Campus and all Day Care to grade 6 classes will be held at the Primary Campus.
Classes at the Secondary Campus will commence at 8am and Primary Campus classes will start at 9am. Pick up and drop off times for all grades will be notified before the end of the week.
