A resumption of classes circular has finally been received from the Department of Education that states that all Primary & Secondary schools should resume classes on Monday 19 April. Goroka Grammar School will follow this instruction as far as possible and we will resume classes on TUESDAY 20 APRIL FOR ALL GRADES. This notice supersedes any other notice regarding term 2 resumption.
All teachers will resume duties on Monday 19 April.
The commencement of term 2 classes on Tuesday 20 April will allow parents and guardians time to complete term 2 enrolment procedures on Monday and for students to collect their admission passes before attending classes.
All parents and sponsors should ensure that school fees are paid for term 2 before children return to class.
There should be no further changes to the reopening schedule, but I continue to advise all parents, guardians and students to check the Goroka Grammar School website for the latest updates.
