It is now week 8 at Goroka Grammar School and this is a very busy time of the term for the teachers and students. On Friday of this week, 22 March, the school will host its Humanities Fair at the Primary Campus. It promises to be an interesting day of time and geographic travel. All parents and guardians are welcome to come along and witness this day of celebration of the humanities. The gate fee is K5 and tickets can be purchased in advance from the school office.
On Thursday of next week, the school will hold its annual cross-country event at the Primary Campus. All grades will be taking part and there will also be a special open event for teachers and parents. The event will start at 9am and will continue until lunch time.
The following day is Good Friday and will be a public holiday. Monday 1 April is Easter Monday and also a Public Holiday. From Tuesday until Thursday of that week we will have end of term tests and exams and the school will close for the end of term 1 on Thursday 4 April.
