HOLIDAY CLASSES

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR ALL PARENTS AND GUARDIANS

Next week, Monday 15 to Friday 19 June is week 11 of term 2 for Goroka Grammar School and is our final week of the term. On Thursday 18 June grade 10 students will sit for their written expression national examination and after the exam is finished the school will close for the term break.

However the school has decided to continue with some classes during the holiday week from Monday 22 June to Thursday 25 June. There will be limited classes at the Secondary Campus and parents and guardians should see the attached schedule for details.

At the Primary Campus there will be classes for all grades from Kindergarten to grade 6. As it is a holiday week classes at the Primary Campus will begin at 9am and finish at the usual drop of times. For ELC children it will be 12pm drop-off and grades 2 to 6 will finish at 1pm.

At the Secondary Campus classes will also commence at 9am and will finish at 1.45pm.

This will help us to catch up with the time that was lost during the lockdown and the SoE.

Finally, I wish to thank the teachers of Goroka Grammar School for all their work and cooperation during this difficult time.
