Grade 10 National Exam Results!

Goroka Grammar School wishes to congratulate all our Grade 10 students on their outstanding National Exam results.

This year, our students achieved a Mean Rating Index (MRI) of 87%. This means over 87% of our exam results are upper passes, credits or distinctions.

We had a total of 51 distinctions(32.3% of total exams), 64 credits(36.7% of total exams), 27 upper passes(17.1% of total exams) and 21 passes(13.3% of total exams) out of 168 sat exams.

We would like to thank the students for their determination, hard work and the time they’ve put into their studies. We would also like to thank their teachers, Mrs. Kafare (Language and Literature), Ms. Agua (Mathematics), Ms. Agerenga (Personal Development), Mr. Huanaromo (Science), Mrs. Koilopa (Social Science), Ms. Freeman (Business studies) and Mr. Henry (ICT), for the effort and dedication they’ve put into the students this year.

A special mention of Daniel Kale who placed in the top 30 out of approximately 62,000 students in mathematics. This is an exceptional achievement so congratulations to him.

Currently, 7 of the 24 Grade 10 students are enrolled in our Science preparation program, strengthening their science and maths foundations, for the science stream next year. We look forward to seeing all our Grade 10 students excel in the future.
