Goroka Grammar School offers high quality boarding accommodation for both boys and girls. The school has 3 accomodation facilities, 2 located at the Primary campus and the other, located at the Secondary campus.

Facilities
​
All the rooms have self-contained facilities including bathrooms tea and coffee facilities. Rooms range from 2-4 occupants, depending on grade, age, family relations etc.
​
There is also a dedicated mess/dining hall for students to enjoy their 3 main meals a day and snacks. The student kitchens are run by our Chefs Turi and Jeff.
​
Students also have access to multi-purpose sports courts and are able to play basketball, touch, football and volleyball at their leisure.
​
The school also has a medical orderly (nurse), who can provide daily medical assistance when required.
​
Care
​
Boarding duty teachers provide round-the-clock care for all boarding students.
​
During weekends students are permitted to sign out and leave the school campus. Alternatively, there are also group activities organised for the students such as swimming and hikes.
​
There is also a 24/7 security service provided at both campuses.
Educational Support
Boarding students at Goroka Grammar School have various activities implemented to aid in their educational journey.

10 Hours of supervised study/week with teachers.

Boarding parents are teachers at GGS to easily liaise with other student teachers.

Boarders also have access to the library and computer facilities outside of school hours.
